ARTS DAO FOSTERS DUBAI AS DAO & WEB3 ECOSYSTEM

ARTS DAO is in line with the government’s vision to establish Dubai as the capital of decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs), metaverse and the web3 ecosystem. By fostering an atmosphere that is conducive to the growth of web3 innovations and DAOs, ARTS DAO hopes to propel economic expansion and establish the city as a global centre for decentralised technology. In order to lay a solid basis for a decentralised future, it is dedicated to promoting collaboration, funding research and development, and raising public awareness and education.

ARTS DAO FEST, the first-ever Web 3.0 event in the Middle East took place at the 25H Hotel in One Central DIFC, presented by Arts DAO, the largest NFT community in the area. The celebration of NFT and internet culture, which has gained prominence in recent years, took place on March 11, 23. This was the first-ever DAO & NFT cultural festival in Dubai honouring online culture and digital art.

Anas Bhurtun, Co-Founder and CEO of Arts DAO, said, “We believe that internet culture is reshaping every aspect of our personal lives, including the way we consume culture, obtain and own personal assets, our experiences, and even our identities.” “We have created Arts DAO Fest to empower all demographics and audiences, but in particular to showcase to GEN-Z and millennials how to build their businesses and brands in this new digital era.”

“The countdown is on for the Arts DAO Web 3.0 cultural, art, and music festival, and we’re excited to bring this unique experience to Dubai,” said Anas Bhurtun, Co-Founder of Arts DAO. “The festival will be a celebration of creativity and showcase the power of decentralized networks in shaping the future of culture. We look forward to welcoming visitors from all over the world to this exciting event.”

ADF focuses on the three fundamental pillars of creation, culture, and community. The industry’s integration of the digital and physical realms is reflected in these ideas. ADF will lead to new economic models like as digital asset ownership and online markets, as well as more options for social connection and communication. Experiences and interactions that blend the lines between the real and virtual worlds will be made possible by such evolutions. The purpose of the event is to grow the NFT community in the area.

Celebrating NFT and internet culture, which were introduced to the US by organisations like Crypto Punks and Bored Ape Yacht Club, was the main objective of Arts DAO Fest (ADF). It served as a network for developers, entrepreneurs, and investors to collaborate on new initiatives and as a forum for top firms to exchange insights and expertise about the direction of blockchain, NFTs, and decentralised payments. Members of the UAE Web3 community now have an unprecedented opportunity to get together and immerse themselves in NFT culture thanks to ADF.

Numerous major businesses participated at the Arts DAO Fest, sharing their insights and skills on subjects including blockchain, NFTS, and more. From business owners to investors and developers, the event served as a hub for anybody wishing to network and meet industry leaders.

In addition to live podcasts hosted by the Crypto OG Podcast and Traders’ Brawl, there was a multimedia activation around NFTs by FT NFT, where they showcased their exclusive 3D body scanner and held an auction of a one-of-a-kind artwork by the award-winning artist Kristel Bechara (above – the Ethernal Eye) , with all proceeds going to cancer research with the Al Jalila Foundation.

Visitors had a great time at the Arts DAO exhibition honouring artists in the DAO, the GM Photo Booth and gamified activation by Neo Kyoto, the photographic activation led by Waleed Shah, live music by DJs and beatboxers, and artist capsules that allowed for live painting of tangible things.

Major Web 3.0 firms including Ledger and the Pudgy Penguins had sponsor booths during the event, and other foreign Web 3.0 initiatives made their first trip to Dubai. The event featured a unique treasure hunt that allowed attendees to connect with Web 3.0 firms through a gamified collection of activations, showcasing how internet culture and decentralised networks are altering creativity and enabling new kinds of cultural expression.

“The Dobermans” is a bold fusion of canine charm and criminal intrigue exhibited at the ADF 2023. The Dobermans POAP, a AAA animated creation that will be released through an NFT drop in the future, is your initial point of entry into the Dobes ecosystem.

With a preview of art, fashion, augmented reality, a real Banksy work from the UA3 vault, and much more, PunkApe had a spectacular debut at the ADF Fest.

In order to provide hard wallet options to UAE Arts DAO members, the largest NFT and Web 3.0 community in the Middle East, Arts DAO, had partnered with Ledger, the world’s top cryptocurrency digital storage provider.

“Ledgers are a so-called ‘cold storage’ solution, People are always looking for safer places to store their cryptocurrency, and thanks to decentralized finance, anyone with a cold storage wallet may basically act as their own bank. This is crucial considering recent market volatility in the cryptocurrency space as well as future-defining events like the FTX collapse.” remarked Mr. Danosch Zahedi, Co-Founder of Arts DAO.

“Internet culture is a fascinating and rapidly-evolving field that has the potential to transform how we interact, communicate, and experience the world around us,” says Danosch Zahedi, co-founder and CEO of Arts DAO. “This is obviously so unique for each individual that the scope for methods and mediums to interact with our audiences is immense.”

Anas Bhurtun chaired a panel discussion with Ledger at Arts DAO FEST, which focused on the theme of “What will crypto wallets and online identities look like in 5 years?” The talk took place in Ledger’s workshop area.
