“It just seemed natural to celebrate the art of moviemaking via the art of high jewelry,” explained Celine Assimon, CEO of de Grisogono. “Both share a common thread not just of color, but about layering those colors and playing with light. It seemed like a very natural marriage that also pays tribute to our love of film.”

In a preview which unveiled the Haute Joaillerie jewelry, de Grisogono has instilled in its creations the first three colors of cinema – emerald green, ruby red and sapphire blue. The three colors that give life through subtractive synthesis are magenta, cyan and yellow, joined by the trendiest secondary color of them all, purple. It is a collection as rich in nuances as a chromatic circle, with the creations to be mixed and matched as desired. They are electrifying jewelry sets in dazzling shades that will bring vivid color to the red carpet.

There was a one-of-a-kind Technicolor high-jewelry necklace featuring 1,156 brilliant-cut rubies totaling 37.4 carats, 41 baguette-cut diamonds totaling 12.8 carats, 1,255 brilliant-cut diamonds totaling 30.6 carats, and one pear-cut diamond totaling 3.03 carats. The natural allure through the subtle charms of amethyst come to life, so distinguished, as the bold nuances reveal the warm and cold tones of purple, ranging from light to very dark.

The 70-piece collection “celebrates the art of moviemaking via the art of high jewelry; both share a common thread – not just of color, but about layering those colors and playing with light,” said the brand’s CEO, Celine Assimon.
