THE ROYAL OPULENCE COLLECTION BY AMATO
Inspired by the Indian Maharaja royalty, Amato’s fall winter 22/23 couture collection was incredibly deadly and fantastic, with a gothic innovative couture twist.
The contemporary regalia fit for a modern Maharaja, with an all-black cast of looks characterized by other-worldly-handmade embellishments, — calling to mind the romanticism of vintage Indian costumery was launched at the Arab Fashion Week – WOMEN’S COUTURE FALL/WINTER 2022/2023 AND READY-TO-WEAR SPRING SUMMER 2023.
Newly crowned Miss Universe Bahrain Evlin Khalifa walked the runway at Amato Couture’s Arab Fashion Week show in Dubai.
“I am so thrilled to be a part of this fabulous show. It has always been my dream to walk on the runway of Arab Fashion Week and now that dream will finally come to life. This is even more special as I will be walking for the world renowned fashion designer to the royalties and stars, Furne Amato of Amato Couture.” said Evlin Khalifa. “This whole journey of Miss Universe has been incredible so far and I cannot wait to see you all as we have been preparing to represent the Gulf region in the global stage of Miss Universe.” she added.
The Creative Director and Founder of AMATO Couture, Furne One said: “Evlin is the new face of the modern Arab region. She embodies the diversity and uniqueness of this region. She is strong yet vulnerable, passionate yet kind-hearted, respectful yet free-spirited. All these contrasting characteristics are so relatable with the modern Arabs that she represents. We simply are looking at the future and my collection for this season is all about stepping into the future.”
The models, Amato wearing aesthete, adorned with Turbans, capes, feathered shoulders, and moulded armor served as the hallmarks of this fall-winter collection that pushed conventional barriers.
The National Director of Miss Universe Bahrain and Owner of Yugen PR, Josh Yugen, said: “Being the new face of her generation, Evlin Khalifa is a symbol of hope and respect as she carries the flaming torch of the new generation of Arab leaders, movers and shakers. I can’t wait for you all to see what this amazing lady can do.”
